NORTH JERSEY, NJ — If you routinely take the train from Hoboken or Bergen County over the New York State border, be aware that you may have to take a bus for some segments starting this Sunday and lasting for two months.

NJ Transit and Metro-North posted messages Friday saying that due to track work, starting Sunday, Sept. 8, through Nov. 8, "Buses replace midday and weekend trains between Port Jervis & Sloatsburg due to track work. Use Middletown or Harriman on weekends for Hoboken and NY if at Otisville/Salisbury Mills. Buses connect at Ramsey-Route 17 and run earlier than trains."
