Gov. Murphy: Indoor Martial Arts, Yoga Studios Can Resume In NJ
Gov. Murphy announced more NJ reopenings amid the coronavirus crisis.
NEW JERSEY – Gov. Phil Murphy, speaking during a Wednesday news conference, said indoor yoga studios and martial arts facilities can resume operations. He made the announcement as he revealed that the Garden State has 390 additional coronavirus cases and 24 more deaths (you can watch it live here, below).
The update comes as the number of cases has risen to 177,645, and 13,787 confirmed deaths have been reported. Read more: NJ Coronavirus, Reopen Updates: Here's What You Need To Know
Murphy clarified that contact drills and practices may resume in sports, but only outside. He also said that yoga studios and martial arts facilities can resume indoor activities as long as they're at 25 percent capacity and the participants are masked.

Murphy said he would like to open more of New Jersey's economy, but he said the daily case number of 390 is still too high, and shows that the disease "is still out there."
"We're lot better than we were. We're just not there yet," Murphy said.
