Expect Delays In Holmdel For 2024-2025 School Year

HOLMDEL, NJ — Holmdel Police said drivers should expect delays on Crawfords Corner Road and the surrounding area due to a new traffic pattern that will be implemented for the 2024-2025 school year.

According to police, the Holmdel Board of Education has aligned the start times of Holmdel High School and WR Satz Middle School for 8 a.m., with school days ending at 2:35 p.m.

With this alignment of schedules, police said a new traffic pattern will be implemented for arrival and dismissal to help manage increased traffic.

The new school year begins on Wednesday, Sept. 4 in Holmdel, officials said.

Police are asking drivers to plan accordingly and allow for additional time while driving to the schools or through the area.
