Hazlet Township Appoints New Board of Education President and Vice President
Board President Stephen F. Willig has announced his resignation, and Vice President William Kolibas has now been appointed as president.

After serving the Hazlet Township Board of Education for over 9 years, Board President Stephen F. Willig announced at the September 22, 2014 Board of Education Meeting that he would be resigning his position from the Board of Education effective immediately due to conflicts with his work schedule.
“It has truly been a privilege to work with such highly principled and able administrators and board members. I know I am leaving the board in good hands,” stated Mr. Willig.
At the same meeting the current Vice President, Mr. William Kolibas, was unanimously appointed President of the Hazlet Township Board of Education and Mrs. Lauri O’Leary was unanimously selected as the new Vice President.

The Board of Education will be advertising for the vacancy created my Mr. Willig’s departure and plans to appoint a replacement Board Member at their November 17, 2014 meeting.
