Holmdel Approves More Funds For EMS Building Renovation
Additional funds have been granted for renovations to the EMS building on Crawfords Corner Road, per municipal documents.
HOLMDEL, NJ - Additional funds requested by the Holmdel Township architect have been granted for renovations to the EMS building on Crawfords Corner Road, according to municipal documents.
The extra $3,291.60 in funds, an increase from the initial contract of $1,109,695 for Fitzpatrick & Associates, was approved as part of a consent agenda item at the May 9 Holmdel Township Committee Meeting. The contract price now stands at $1,094,166.60.
Renovations on the Crawfords Corner Road EMS building began in March, according to a March newsletter report from the first aid squad.

“Work is in progress to convert the half of the building that formerly housed the fire department into a larger training room, and to make improvements to our existing building to accommodate the needs of our growing first aid squad,” the squad wrote. “We are appreciative of the Township’ s support in making these renovations possible and look forward to continuing to better our facilities!”
