Holmdel Half Century Member Elizabeth Newbauer Dies at 90
Mrs. Newbauer was a member of the Italian American Club and Senior Citizens both of Holmdel, and the Holmdel Half Century Club of St. Catharine's Church.

Elizabeth E. Newbauer, 90, of Holmdel passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Born and raised in Union City, she lived in Hazlet prior to moving to Holmdel in 1977. She graduated from St. Mary's Nursing School in Hoboken as a Registered Nurse and worked in that capacity as a private duty, welfare, school, and doctors office nurse.
For most of her career she worked as nursing supervisor, head nurse and employee health nurse for Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Mrs. Newbauer was a member of the Italian American Club and Senior Citizens both of Holmdel, and the Holmdel Half Century Club of St. Catharine's Church.
She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Newbauer in 1995 and by her brother, Anthony Moglia and sister, Mary Menegaz. Surviving are her daughters, Carol Williams and husband Robert, and Patricia Daccurso and husband Carmen; 4 grandchildren, Christopher and Ryan Williams, Dana Berryman and husband Joseph, Drew Basso; great grandson, Joseph C. Berryman, and two nieces and five nephews.
Visitation was held Sunday at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, 9:15 a.m. at St. Catharine's R.C. Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Entombment will be in the Holmdel Cemetery.
