High school college readiness is partially measured by participation in high education testing, including the SAT/ACT tests and AP profociency.

The report card cites a 100 percent graduate and post-secondary performance rate, which means the school is meeting state targets in regards to graduation rates and students entering higher education.

Holmdel outeperforms 87 percent of schools in the state in the graduate category, and 74 percent in its demographic.

“While the evaluation of student outcome data is crucial for school improvement, we know that these data alone cannot capture the dozens of other essential elements of schools such as a positive school climate, participation in extracurricular programs and the development of non-cognitive skills,” said Chief Performance Officer Bari Erlichson.

Patch will continue to publish school report card data for Holmdel schools over the coming weeks. View the entire state report card at the NJDOE website.
