Holmdel Working to Control Deer Population by Allowing Hunting in Select Parks
Holmdel, working in conjunction with the Monmouth County Park System's Deer Management Program, has opened select areas to deer hunting.

The township of Holmdel is working alongside the Monmouth County Park System in order to reduce the deer population in the parks, by permitting deer hunting in select areas, according to a notice posted to the town’s website.
The Monmouth County Park System’s Deer Management Program permits deer hunting in select areas of the county’s seventeen parks, which includes portions within Holmdel.
