Police: Juvenile Drove Without a License, Crashed into Off-Duty Cop
A 15-year-old teen was driving early on Feb. 22 when he lost control and hit an off-duty officer in Holmdel.

A 15-year-old teenager went joyriding with a brand new Mercedes on Feb. 22 when he lost control and crashing into an off-duty officer, according to Holmdel Police.
The teenager allegedly took his father's car without permission, and went driving with a friend in the early morning hours.
The young unlicensed driver attempted to make a left from Laurel Avenue in Holmdel when he lost control and totaled the truck of an off-duty Holmdel officer.

No injuries were reported in the accident.
The juvenile was processed and released to a parent, charged with improper use of a vehicle without the permission of the owner, driving without a license and reckless driving.
