Learn About Lanternflies At Master Gardeners Program In Holmdel
Citizens for Informed Land Use in Holmdel is presenting a program with Rutgers Master Gardeners about ways to control the invasive pests.
HOLMDEL, NJ — Learn about ways to prevent the spread of invasive lanternflies and how to reduce their impact on gardens and trees during a virtual program Monday night.
"Meet the New Neighbors: Managing the Spotted Lanternfly in Your Yard" is a program on Zoom, sponsored by Citizens for Informed Land Use (CILU) and presented by the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Monmouth County.
Ann Sherwood, a Rutgers Master Gardener, will lead an informal presentation about these invaders, share information about how to make traps from household materials, and help residents select the best management methods for their yards.
