Obituary: Madeline Mihovich, 83 of Holmdel
Madeline moved to NJ in 1939, and four years ago settled in Holmdel.

Madeline M. Mihovich, 83, of Holmdel, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 23, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at her home. Heaven is very lucky today, for they have received a very special angel. A true gift from God, our mom and grandma.
She was born Madeline M. Walko on Nov. 7, 1929 in PA. In 1939, she moved to NJ, and four years ago settled in Holmdel. Madeline was the past president of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Camptown Post 1941 in Irvington.
Before retiring, she was the manager of Close Out Corner, a clothing store in South Plainfield. Madeline loved visiting Atlantic City, and was an avid slot player in both the casino and online games. She also enjoyed word search puzzles, reading, and spending time with her adored grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary (Watlock) Walko; and her beloved husband, John Mihovich. Madeline is survived by her loving daughters, Linda Schultz and her companion Marty Siler of Kinnelon, and Sandy Nesta and her husband Salvatore of Holmdel; her dear sister, Renee Hoolko of Livingston; her cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Salvatore IV, and Dante, along with many special nieces and nephews and her 4 legged friends, Bosco, Moose, Harley and Chloe. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends were invited to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 26 and from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Saturday, April 27 at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Rt. 35 N, Hazlet.
