Police: Holmdel Man Poked Cop in Eye

A domestic violence call led to a resisting arrest charge for Emile Gouiran of Holmdel, according to police.

Gouiran, 43 was arrested on Monday after Holmdel officers responded to a domestic violence call. Police were allegedly confronted by Gouiran at the scene.

County arrest records indicate Gouiran allegedly pushed a Holmdel officer and poked the officer in the eye, causing injury.

Gouiran was processed at Homdel headquarters and transported to Monmouth County Jail, where he was held in lieu $15,000 bail.

According to Holmdel police, further investigation revealed Gouiran to be a wanted person by Prescott Arizona Sheriff’s Office for criminal mischief.
