Christian youth campers will visit the Hazlet area in July and are ready to help low-income, disabled or veteran families with free repairs.
HAZLET, NJ — Do you have home repairs to make, but can't fit them in your budget right now?
If so, low-income residents in Hazlet and nearby Bayshore communities can apply to be considered for free home repair projects by the Jersey Shore Workcamp.
Christian youth campers will spend one week here - July 10 to 14 - performing free home repair projects in the Bayshore for elderly, low-income, veteran and disabled families.

Homeowners can apply for free home repair by mailing in the application by April 30.
Examples of work include porch repair/construction, step repair, painting, wheelchair ramp/construction, weatherization and mobile home skirting.

Labor and materials are free to qualifying households.
The students are supervised and supported by local community-minded organizations.
