47 Dogs, Many Injured, Rescued From Hopatcong Home: Report
Hoarding situation uncovers 20 pregnant dogs, report says.

HOPATCONG, N.J. – Another animal hoarding situation was uncovered recently, this time in Hopatcong, where 47 dogs were found inside a home.
According to njherald.com, many of the dogs had severe injuries and were covered in feces and urine in a house that had no electricity.
The home was uncovered when a Hopatcong police officer last week found several dogs loose near the home. He followed them and “couldn’t miss the smell coming from the area,” police told njherald.com. The officer then notified the New Jersey ASPCA.
