Early Dismissal For Snow In Hopatcong Jan. 29

HOPATCONG, NJ — All Hopatcong schools and school offices will close early on Tuesday, Jan. 29 due to the impending snow storm. P.M. Preschool, and afternoon AlphaBEST will be canceled entirely.

Here are the dismissal times:

• Hudson Maxim Students at the High School and Middle School: 12:25 p.m.
• Tulsa Trail: 12:05 p.m.
• Durban Avenue: 11:55 a.m.
• Middle School: 11:40 a.m.
• High School: 11:30 a.m.

Here is the weather through Wednesday night:

Today: Snow. High near 34. South wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow, mainly before 9pm. Low around 16. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Wednesday: A chance of snow showers, mainly between 10am and 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 20. Wind chill values as low as -1. West wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around -3. Wind chill values as low as -16. West wind 11 to 16 mph.
