FPSC Announces 'Service Strong' Veterans Job & Services Fair

Newton, NJ 9/25/24 – Family Promise of Sussex County is proud to announce the 'Service Strong' Veterans Services Job Fair & Vendor Event. This event, specifically tailored for veterans, current servicemen and women, and their families will be held on Thursday, November 7th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sussex County Community College's Student Center. The organization also invites all local businesses and service providers who wish to showcase their commitment to veteran employment and support services to participate.

'Service Strong' is focused on connecting veterans with employment opportunities and services within the community. The event, which is free for all attendees, will host a variety of employers and vendors, all with a common goal: to support and empower our veterans. Attendees at the 'Service Strong' event will have the opportunity to network with one another, meet with potential employers, explore a variety of job opportunities, and learn about community resources specifically designed to support veterans.

Family Promise of Sussex County invites all veterans looking for new employment opportunities, support services, or networking avenues to attend this community event. Participating employers and vendors will have tables with information and giveaways for all attendees.
