Get Ready To Stuff The Bus, Cram The Cruiser In Sussex County
The annual food drives to fill up Sussex County food pantries, is ahead throughout the county this weekend. Find out where to donate.
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ — It’s that time of year when the Stuff the Bus event comes around again to collect shelf-stable foods to fill the shelves of the Division of Social Services Food Pantry, giving a hand to Sussex County residents who are food insecure.
The drop-off locations are throughout Sussex County, partnering with 102.3 WSUS, 103.7 WNNJ and Max 106.3, with WSUS and WNNJ radio personalities at the Newton and Franklin ShopRites this coming Saturday and Sparta and Byram on Sunday.

Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- ShopRite of Byram, 90-80 Route 206 North, Stanhope, NJ
- ShopRite of Sparta, 18 North Village Boulevard, Sparta, NJ
Sparta Police will be collecting non-perishable food items daily through Sunday, Nov. 21 in front of the Sparta Stop & Shop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., to benefit the food pantry and help “Stuff the Bus.”
Police Departments from around the county will also be collecting food for the food pantry, with Hopatcong Police Department one drop off site through the end of the year.
Byram Township Police Department is doing its own “Cram the Cruiser” event, even gathering frozen turkeys, in addition to non-perishable foods, at the police department between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily on 10 Mansfield Drive, through Nov. 24, for the Waterloo Food Pantry.
