Hackettstown Woman Tries To Pick Up Fake Script From Pharmacy: Police
A pharmacist from Stop & Shop notified Sparta police after Brienne L. Fitzsimmons, 30, tried to call in a fake prescription, police said.

SPARTA, N.J.– Sparta police said they arrested a Hackettstown woman on Saturday for attempting to pick up a fraudulent prescription.
Brienne L. Fitzsimmons called in the fake script around 2:19 p.m. and said she'd planned to pick it up later, Sgt. Dennis Proctor said.
An employee from Stop & Shop's pharmacy department called police to notify them, according to Proctor.

Fitzsimmons went to pick up the medication around 5 p.m. and was met by Cpl. Joe Antonello and Officer Dan Florio, Proctor said.
The officers confirmed with the pharmacist that the prescription was fraudulent and Fitzsimmons was arrested, Proctor said.

She was charged with obtaining a prescription by fraud and criminal attempt, he added.
