Roberts, Smith Lead In Hopatcong Borough Council Race

HOPATCONG, NJ — In the Hopatcong Borough Council's contested race Dawn Roberts and Ryan Smith have the lead over Mara Modes, Marie Galate and Heather Fiore, for the two three-year seat, according to unofficial results.

Hopatcong Borough Council (two, three-year seats up for election)
- Ryan Smith (R) - 1,917
- Dawn Roberts (R) - 2,032
- Mara Modes (D) - 708
- Marie Galate (I) - 959
- Heather Fiore (I) - 847
- Write-In - 39
The results of this race will be official once the Sussex County Clerk's Office certifies it, after all mail-in ballots are tallied.
