Hopatcong Kids' Bowling League Is Seeking Members

The grand tradition of youth bowling continues with a new season of the Hopatcong/Circle Lanes Recreation Bowling League.

Starting Oct. 29, the weekly league will meet Tuesdays from 4-5:15 p.m. at Circle Lanes, 1113 Route 46 in Ledgewood. For kids from kindergarten through third grade, 3-person bumper bowling teams will compete. Youngsters in grades four through eight will compete in four-person non-bumper bowling teams. 

The cost is $6 per week, which includes free shoe rental and two games of bowling. There is a registration fee of $7 per child; the signup form can be found online. Early enrollment is encouraged, as organizers say participation is on a first come, first served basis.  For more information, call 973-770-2701.
