Hopatcong Police 'Stuff The Bus' For Charity
The Sussex County Food Pantry will be the recipient of the supplies collected.
HOPATCONG, NJ - Frozen turkeys, hams, lasagna along with non-perishable food items were all literally stuffed into the bus as part of the "Stuff the Bus" event over the weekend, according to the Hopatcong Police Department.
All donations will be provided to the Sussex County Social Services Food Pantry, which provides food to residents in need within Sussex County and weekend meals for children involved in school free lunch programs.
The Hopatcong Police thanked those who participated and noted that anyone who still has food to donate they can bring it to the Sussex County Food Pantry, located in Newton, throughout the year.
