HOPATCONG, NJ — For those who don’t want to be overwhelmed with candy after Halloween, there’s a way to part with it, or buy some more, to help brighten the day for troops serving overseas.

Hopatcong Middle School students will be making the lives of men and women in the U.S. Military a bit sweeter, by collecting candy between Nov. 1 and Nov. 10 for Operation Jersey Cares, a not-for-profit group of volunteers that support U.S. Troops.

For more information about the group visit www.operationjerseycares.org.
