Motorcyclist Killed After Hitting Tree In North Jersey
The man's motorcycle veered off the road before the collision, according to authorities.
SUSSEX COUNTY, NJ — A Morris County man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Sussex County, according to state police.
On Monday, around 1:30 p.m., police responded to County Road 521 at milepost 38.2 in Montague Township on a report of a crash.
Authorities found that Efrain Alvarado Maradiaga, 36, of Morris Plains, was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle southbound when he veered off the road and slammed into a tree. Maradiaga’s motorcycle flipped after the collision, authorities added.

Maradiaga sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead that day.
The crash is still being investigated by state police, and no further information is available at this time.
