Rise and Shine for Change with Family Promise of Sussex County!

Come to our Open House on Tuesday, 9/9, and learn all about FPSC, its mission and programs, and find out who won our Clay Shoot raffle.

Newton, NJ. – Family Promise of Sussex County (FPSC) is thrilled to invite the public to its upcoming Open House event, “Rise and Shine for Change,” occurring on September 9, 2025, from 10-12. This event will take place at the main office at 19 Church Street in Newton.

"Rise and Shine for Change” is a prime opportunity for all community members, local organizations, and service providers to tour the Newton office, speak with the staff, and ask any questions they may have. Additionally, guests will get to know FPSC and learn about its mission and impact. Light brunch refreshments will be served.

At 11:30, the raffle ticket will be drawn for the Clay Shoot Raffle Contest Fundraiser. The prize is a 3-hour clay shooting course for four at the luxurious Hudson Farm Club in Andover, with instruction provided by Griffin & Howe; complimentary lunch will be included. The total value of this exclusive package is listed at $1740. Individuals do not need to be present at the Open House in order to participate.

This fundraising event is a unique opportunity to support the Housing Hope Emergency Shelter program, which provides short-term housing in private apartments and supportive social services such as case management, assistance with utilities, food, items for basic needs, and more.
