Sparta Stuff the Bus Food Drive Nets 17 Tons of Food, Over $9K in Donations
Andover, Byram and Sparta police held a weekend long collection to benefit the Sussex County Food Pantry.
SPARTA, N.J.– Andover, Byram and Sparta police's weekend-long Stuff the Bus/Cram the Cruiser food drive netted 34,520 pounds of food, over 250 turkeys and more than $9,000 in donations, police said.
The departments were collecting food for the Sussex County Food Pantry.
Collections were held from 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday inside the parking lots of Byram Plaza the Sparta Stop & Shop and Carl's Autobody (Sparta).

Employees from the Mohawk House, Nielson Dodge, along with volunteers from Sussex County Social Service, and members of the Sparta Police Youth Division participated.
