     Sussex County Prosecutor Francis A. Koch announced the entry of a guilty plea to an indictment before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C. at the Sussex County Courtroom in Newton on February 16, 2022 by Christopher Heddy and Stephen Lafollette.

     Heddy, age 40, of Highland Lakes, and Lafollette, age 59, of Highland Lakes, pled guilty to Endangering the Welfare of a Child – Possession of Child Pornography, a crime of the first degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for April 21, 2022 before the Honorable Michael C. Gaus, J.S.C.                          

     The defendants each admitted to knowingly viewing child pornography that they had on their personal computers, each possessing over 100,000 items depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child.
