Wawa Pumps Going Up At Chatterbox Diner Site
The Chatterbox Diner is no more, as Wawa repurposes the site of the nostalgic spot that was home of bike nights.

FRANKFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ — The drive-in Chatterbox Diner that closed for business in 2018 is gone and the Wawa that replaces it is becoming recognizable in the long swap at the Augusta, New Jersey location.
The 1950's- and '60s-themed Chatterbox has been shuddered since Labor Day 2018, and meanwhile, Wawa has prepped a move to remove the nostalgic diner and build a new retail gas and food stop at the Frankford Township location. The drive-in restaurant at Routes 15 and 206 hosted bike nights for years and was even visited by Henry Winkler of "Happy Days" fame, in 2013.
Construction had advanced enough that the site is now recognizable as a Wawa, according to a report by nj.com.
