2 Men From Howell, Farmingdale Face Child Porn Charges

The two men were arrested as a result of investigations that lasted several months, according to the Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor.

HOWELL, NJ — Two residents from Howell and Farmingdale were arrested and are facing child pornography charges, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.

Joseph Latorre, 45, of Howell, was charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child via distribution of child sexual abuse material.

He was using social media to distribute child sexual abuse material, Linskey said.

William Ford, 76, of Farmingdale, was charged with third-degree endangering the welfare of a child via the possession of child sexual abuse material.

The two arrests were the result of a series of investigations led by the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Computer Crimes Unit and the Monmouth County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

The investigations yielded a total of 14 arrests.

If found guilty, Latorre faces up to 10 years in prison and Ford faces up to five years.

They would also be registered under Megan's Law and assigned parole supervision for life if found guilty.
