HOWELL, NJ — Three officers have joined the Howell police force, with a welcome from the department: Patrolman Michael Divona, Special Officer Thomas Matthews II and Patrolman Maurice Jackson. <ul><li>Patrolman Divona has two years of experience with NJ Transit.</li><li> Special II Matthews is joining Howell after a season with the Manasquan Police Department. He is the son of retired Officer Thomas Matthews Sr.</li><li> Patrolman Jackson has two and a half years experience with Kean University Police. </li></ul> After some agency training these new officers will be put through the Field Training Process, the department said.
