Car Crashes Into Nail Salon In Howell, Police Say

The crash occurred around 1 p.m. on Sunday when a car collided with a nail salon on Route 9 South, police said.

HOWELL, NJ — Police are investigating after a car collided into a nail salon on Tuesday afternoon, Howell Township Police said.

At 12:47 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to Nail Pro on 3426 Route 9 South for a report of a car crashing into a building.

The driver of the involved vehicle, a 76-year-old resident of Jackson, was evaluated by EMS but was otherwise uninjured, police said. Authorities did not release the driver's name.

Inside the nail salon, police said minor injuries were reported by patrons, and all those involved in the incident were evaluated on scene by EMS. No major injuries were reported, police said.

Howell Township Police Department EMS, Howell First Aid, Freewood Acres Fire Company, Southard Fire Department, Howell Township Building Department, NJ Natural Gas and Taylor's Towing & Recovery all responded to the crash to assist.
