Construction Will Detour Some Fort Plains Road Traffic In Howell

Drainage and curbing work will take place for the next two weeks along portions of Fort Plains Road in Howell.

HOWELL NJ — A major drainage and curbing construction project that started Monday along portions of Fort Plains Road will continue for two weeks, the township says.

The project will involve work along portions of Fort Plains Road between West Farms Road and Jerrys Lane, according to township information.

Work is scheduled for the next two weeks, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. p.m.

The road will be detoured at West Farms Road and Bergerville Road during construction.

Local traffic, buses and emergency vehicles will have access through the work zone at all times.

This portion of Fort Plains Road will be repaved late spring/early summer.
