Help Carole in Battle Against Cancer

Battling cancer once and winning is always an accomplishment, but when it comes back for a second round it can usually take more fight out of the person waging the war.

A Howell resident named Carole beat cancer 26 years ago and now at the age of 74 she is fighting the good fight again, this time with the help of the website gofundme.com. The fund was started by a woman whose child was part of Carole’s gymnastics class for special needs children started 20 years ago.

In that time she has seen her daughter compete in the Special Olympics World Games and now wants to help the person who helped her daughter. The fund was created on November 26 and since that time has raised just a little over $2000 with a goal of $5000 to help offset medical costs.
