HOWELL, NJ — The Monmouth County Road Department will be closing the southbound lane of Herbertsville Road on Thursday, Dec. 1, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. from County Route 547 to Newtons Corner, police here said. The lane will be closed for drilling test pits in the southbound lane. The northbound lane will remain open, according to the police department. Police advise that a detour using Easy Street will be set up for the duration of the closure.
