HOWELL, NJ — Howell got a total of five inches of snow overnight, according to National Weather Service.
Like many others, the Howell Township Public Schools and the Freehold Regional High School districts announced that schools will be closed on Friday due to the snowfall.

A winter weather advisory was in effect in Monmouth County and the Jersey Shore area was predicted to get 4 to 6 inches of snow overnight, according to the National Weather Service.
