Howell Board, Commission, Committee Positions Open For Volunteers

HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township Council is looking for residents to volunteer at several board, commission and committee positions.

Applications are open through Nov. 15. To submit one visit this page and select "Application for Appointment."

Here is the list of organizations for which you can apply:

• Municipal Alliance - Meetings at 12:30, third Tuesday of the month
• Environmental Commission - Meetings at 7 p.m., second Wednesday of the month
• Farmers Advisory Committee - Meetings at 6:30 p.m., fourth Thursday of the month
• Lake Restoration & Wildlife - Meetings at 10 a.m., third Thursday of the month
  • Management Committee - Meetings every other month
• Mobile Home Rent Stabilization and Control Board - Meetings at 7 p.m., second Wednesday of the month
• Municipal Green Team - Meetings at 7 p.m., last Tuesday of the month
• Planning Board - Meetings at 7 p.m., first and third Thursday of the month
• Preservation Task Force - Meetings at 7 p.m., first Wednesday of the month
• Shade Tree Commission - Meetings at 7 p.m., third Wednesday of the month
• Zoning Board of Adjustment - Meetings at 7:30 p.m., second and fourth Monday of the month

Some of the opportunities are for a liaison appointment:

• Monmouth County Commissioners representative/liaison
• Metedeconk Watershed Protection Alliance representative
• Manasquan River Regional Sewerage Authority representative
