Howell Closes Schools Friday

HOWELL, NJ — Due to the predicted storm forecast, the Howell Township Public Schools will be closed on Friday, Jan. 19, the district announced Thursday night.

All after-school activities and outside community events will be canceled. The Police Athletic League Before Care and After Care Programs will be closed, the district said.

According to Patch, up to 6 inches of snow are expected alongside treacherous driving conditions. and possible school closures.

Snow mixing with rain will be “possible along the southern coastal areas during the morning through early afternoon,” the National Weather Service said.
