HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township Council is meeting in person at the main meeting room on Tuesday and the regular session will start at 7 p.m.

The resolution for the approval of a developer's agreement for 100 age-restricted units on Route 9 is back on the agenda after the council struck it down in September.

Township attorney Joe Clark warned council members that because of previous settlements the developer might be able to build a larger amount of units if the council continues its efforts to block the current plan. Know as The Fountains, the development has been in the works for decades.

The resolution resurfaced and was tabled at the last meeting because Mayor Theresa Berger and Councilman John Bonevich were not present.
