Howell Schools Warns Parents About Tik Tok Vandalism Challenge
Superintendent Joseph Isola encouraged parents to remind their kids that this challenge is "criminal behavior, not an innocent prank."
HOWELL, NJ — A Tik Tok challenge encouraging students to vandalize the schools, assault staff and show their private parts is making the rounds on social media and the Howell Township Public Schools district sent out a letter warning parents about it.
"It is deeply disturbing and disappointing that these videos are encouraging this behavior within our school communities," the letter signed by Superintendent Joseph Isola read. "These acts are not a reflection of our schools, and we thank you for your continued support in ensuring that this school year is a positive one for all.
The letter made no mention that any vandalism acts had happened in Howell Public Schools.
