Lottery Luck: Lucky Convenience In Howell Sold A $50,000 Winner

One New Jersey player with a ticket bought in Howell wins $50,000 in the Powerball drawing Monday. Powerball jackpot rolls to $526M.

HOWELL, NJ — One New Jersey Lottery ticket - sold right here in Howell - matched four of the five white balls in the Powerball drawn for the Monday, Jan. 23, winning the $50,000 second-tier prize.

The ticket was sold at Lucky Convenience, 2940 Route 9, Howell, according to New Jersey Lottery officials.

The winning numbers for the Jan. 23 drawing were: 12, 31, 47, 58, and 60. The Red Powerball number was 23. The Power Play was 3X. 39,002 New Jersey players took home an estimated $228,797 in prizes ranging from $4 to $300.

The Powerball jackpot rolls to $526 million for the next drawing to be held Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 10:59 pm.

The Double Play drawing is an additional drawing for players who opted-in to the Double Play feature on their tickets. The Double Play drawing results for the Monday, Jan. 23, drawing were: 06, 15, 31, 45 and 58. The Double Play Ball number was 05.
