After an ultrasound revealed an enlarged spleen and blood work to confirm, 6-year-old, Bruce was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia by K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital in Neptune, NJ. He was immediately treated with chemotherapy, which continued for years after.
