NJ Weekend Weather: Possible Showers, Wind Gusts At Jersey Shore
There will be a chance of showers on Saturday after 1 p.m., but Sunday will be mostly sunny, forecasters say. Here's the latest:
JERSEY SHORE, NJ — Following a stormy Friday morning, showers are also possible this weekend on Saturday, forecasters say.
According to the National Weather Service, there will be a chance of showers after 1 p.m. on Saturday.
A limited non-thunderstorm wind risk will be in effect for Saturday, the service said. Wind gusts from 10 to 15 mph are expected to increase to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.

High temperatures will be between 50 and 60 and low temperatures will be in the low-40s over the weekend.
There is no chance of rain on Sunday, the National Weather Service said.

Friday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1 p.m., then showers likely. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. High near 65. Breezy, with a south wind 15 to 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Friday Night: A chance of showers before 7 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 50. West wind around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday: A slight chance of showers after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 60. Breezy, with a southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 40. Breezy.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 50.
