Nor'easter Forecast Prompts Preparation Warnings In Howell
Potentially strong winds could send Halloween decorations and "witches flying for real" in the storm, Howell residents are warned.
HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township officials are urging residents to prepare for the potential impacts of a nor'easter that is forecast to bring 60 mph wind gusts and several inches of rain over the weekend.
Howell Township Office of Emergency Management officials said Howell residents should "expect gusty winds, periods of rain, and that 'I just did my hair for nothing' humidity through the weekend."
"Bring in those Halloween decorations unless you want witches flying for real!" they said in a post on the township's Facebook page.
