How do you know the teacher?

I was the school principal.

What does this person teach?

Most recently, special education - resource. But, I have been able to move him to areas of need throughout his career. He has taught multiple grade levels as a general education teacher, also.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mr. Eldridge works quietly to support anyone who needs it. He is an advocate for his students, offers his assistance to his colleagues at any time, works behind the scenes for the good of the school by leading efforts for certifications for the school as being Future Ready, leading our "Green Team" initiatives, taking part on the School Improvement Panel, serving as the PTA teacher liaison, and so much more. He never seeks recognition or thanks for his efforts.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

He is a person that you want on your side. He always gives his best effort, is detail oriented, and gets the job done.
