Groups will be assigned a designated road to clean, appropriate for children’s ages, along with gloves, bags, and safety vests.
The event will tackle roads that are heavily traveled and littered with trash.
Clean Communities is also interested in businesses for cleaning and possibly adopting a traffic jughandle, the township said.
All interested parties should contact Cindy Hudak at Public Works at 732-938-4500, ext. 2452 or by email chudak@twp.howell.nj.us.
Adopt-a-Road groups may make arrangements to have supplies picked up earlier in the week.
