There’s Still Time To Catch Fall Festivals Near Howell
Enjoy festivals celebrating autumn and Halloween in Howell.

HOWELL, NJ — Fall is a great time to get outside in Howell and take in the rich offering of festivals.
The changing colors of autumn provide a scenic background for fall and harvest festivals, which have contests ranging from apple bobbing and pumpkin carving to lumberjack contests and Halloween parades.

Here are a few festivals and events in Howell worth putting on the calendar:
- Howell-O-Ween In The Park, Wednesday, Oct. 19, oak Glen Park, 251 Preventorium Road, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. There is a costume contest at 7 p.m.; aninflatable corn maze, axe-throwing, pumpkin paining and hayrides and games. - G&G Stables Fall Festival, 49 Driftway Road, Howell, the event is Oct. 22 and 29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the farm is $10 per person if you purchase your tickets online and $12 per person at the gate (cash only). Admission is required for anyone 2 years and older. Admission includes entrance to the farm, hayrides, round-up ride, petting zoo, use of tables, access to pumpkin patch, kids activities/games. There are also food trucks, face-painting and vendors on site for an additional fee. Animal feed is $2 per cup or $5 for three cups. Pony rides are $5. Visit here for more information.
- Calgo Gardens, New Jersey Angels Fall Festival, Sunday, Oct. 30, 462 Adelphia Road. Enjoy children's games, trick-or-treat costume parade, gift basket raffle, food, and beverages at Tulip Tree Cafe. Activities begin at 3 p.m. See complete schedule here. Enter the carved pumpkin contest. Pumpkin Contest participants may sign up via Eventbrite or between noon and 5:15 p.m. during the day of the event.
