HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township officials are inviting residents to welcome the holiday season at the town's Christmas tree lighting celebration on Tuesday at town hall.The event is from 6 p.m.-8:30 p.m. and includes lots of fun for the whole family, including games, a petting zoo, a bounce house, and hair tinsel and glitter by the Salon Professional Academy. There will be an iceless skating rink, musical entertainment by the Howell High School Brass Choir and One Voice, hot drinks and cookies, and Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus and the Elf will be in attendance for photos and children's wishes. The event is at the Howell Township Municipal Building, 4567 Route 9. There will be parking at the municipal building and at Howell Commons Shopinpg Plaza, with shuttle buses from the shopping plaza to the municipal complex. The shuttles will be closest to Old Navy and the Salon Professional Academy.
