Volunteers Needed For Howell Tree Planting Event Saturday
The Howell Shade Tree Commission is looking for 30 volunteers to help with the work on Saturday between noon and 4 p.m.
HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Shade Tree Commission is planting trees and shrubs on Saturday to create a community wildlife habitat at Easy Street Park.
The organization is looking for 30 volunteers to help with the work between noon and 4 p.m.

The planting day event will happen rain or shine. The area can be wet, so volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately and wear waterproof shoes. They should also bring a shovel and gloves.

Because parking will be limited, the organization suggested that volunteers carpool or arrange to be dropped off and picked up.
The location of the event is off Lakewood-Farmingdale Road. Turn onto Easy Street and the park is 0.25 on the left.
