Warning: Police Searching for Suspect for Macings, Robberies in Freehold, Colts Neck Against Women
Freehold Township police are searching for a suspect in connection to a string of macings and robberies against women in the Freehold area.

Police in Freehold are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a string of robberies against women, in which the females were maced in the face. A fifth woman was attacked last week, CBS Local is reporting.
The latest female victim was assaulted near the American Hotel in Freehold. The suspect reportedly began a conversation with each woman before spraying them with mace and robbing them.
Based on victim accounts, police are searching for a suspect described as being a bald, ”chubby” black man who appears to be in his 30’s or 40’s.

An attack that occurred in Colts Neck in May was also similar in pattern to the Freehold attacks, News 12 New Jersey reported.
Women traveling alone and at night are urged to be cautious and aware of suspicious vehicles.
