Water Line Construction For Howell Warehouse To Detour Traffic
Motorists on Randolph Road in Howell should be aware of new traffic patterns Thursday during construction of a water main in the area.
HOWELL, NJ — New Jersey American Water Co. is installing a water main on Randolph Road overnight on Thursday, March 16, and it will affect traffic patterns in the area, the township advises.
Randolph Road from the Route 547 (Lakewood-Farmingdale Road) intersection to a new warehouse being constructed at 41 Randolph Road (immediately west of Arnold Steel) will be the site of the work, the township says.
Work is scheduled for March 16, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Lakewood-Farmingdale Road at the intersection.

Randolph Road will be closed and alternating traffic will be used for Route 547, according to the township.
Water main installation is scheduled the following week (March 20 thru March 23) from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Randolph Road. The road will be closed at Route 547 and Oak Glen Road during construction.

Two police officers will be onsite during construction, emergency vehicles will be able to pass through the work zone at all times, the township says.
