Weeks Of Road Work Planned By DOT On Route 33 In Howell
Police say Route 33 from The Cabin east to Tinton Falls will be the site of overnight repaving work for the next several weeks.
HOWELL, NJ — The state Department of Transportation will repave nearly a six-mile stretch of Route 33, beginning this week and continuing for about four to five weeks more, police advise.
The area includes Routes 33 and 66 from The Cabin Restaurant in Howell east to World Volkswagen in Tinton Falls, with part of Wall included in that stretch. Police say the work area includes mileposts 31.08 to 36.96.
Work will be conducted overnight, Mondays to Thursdays, starting at 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the next day. On Fridays, the work goes from 8 p.m. to noon the next day.
